GHG 530:   Unalloyed Chilled Cast Iron Die Casting 

Surface Hardness:  Up to 550 Hv
Wear Rate:  About 10% better than GHG Ac Ni Mo
Impact Sensitivity:   High

This material is the simplest form of roller shell. It is ideal for situations were little or slight impacts are expected


GHG 580:   Cr-N-Mo Alloyed Casting 

Surface Hardness:  Up to 600 Hv
Wear Rate:  About 30%-50% better than GHG Ac Ni Mo
Impact Sensitivity:   Moderate

This material gives the best/cost ratio of all the iron castings

GHG 480:   Clear Chilled Casting 

Surface Hardness:  Up to 540 Hv
Wear Rate:  About 30%-50% better than GHG AC Ni Mo
Impact Sensitivity:   Low

This is a tough material that will with stand impact and shock loads. It is ideally suited to both primary and fine roller mill applications

GHG AC Ni Mo:   Gx -300 Bainited Nodular Casting 

Surface Hardness:  Up to 450 Hv
Wear Rate:  This material is designed with safety in mind
Impact Sensitivity:   Very Good

This material is very tough, the rolls can be situated very close, without the fear of failure
